I created an ETL using this component and I am being returned this error:

[Kimball Method Slowly Changing Dimension] Error: Internal error (Object reference not set to an instance of an object.) ProcessCache_SendExistingToSCD2Expired setting SCD2 dates, key: 49004d004f00430041004c00300030003000330033002d003000310053004800500048003100300032003400340039003400.

I cannot understand why, the package was working fine earlier. Please help

What version of component, OS, and SQL are you using?

Do you have an SCD2 Effective column and an SCD2 Expiry column defined?

It looks like very old thread. But, currently I am facing the same error.

My source sytem is SQLSERVER2008R2. Destination,Dimension table is on db2.

I am using V 1.6 version on 64 bit OS.

I am working on SCD2 dimension table, which is having CURRENT_FLAG as history marker. It doesn't have EffectiveDate and ExpiryDates. I am using only 3 outputs New, NewSCD2 and ExpiredSCD2 with SCD1 changes.
